Police Seek Information After Vehicle Stolen At Nyngan

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a stolen vehicle in the state's west over the weekend.

About 5.30pm on Sunday 2 November 2025, a 44-year-old man parked his vehicle – a Volkswagen Utility – at a carpark on the intersection of Nyngan and Pangee Street, Nyngan and upon return, found the car stolen.

Officers attached to Central North Police District were notified and commenced investigations.

Following inquiries, it was identified the Volkswagen was stolen about 1.30am on Monday 3 November 2025 and a single cabin Toyota Landcruiser was seen driving with the stolen vehicle

The vehicles were seen crossing the Bogan River a short time later.

As investigations continue, police have released an image of the stolen and are appealing for assistance to locate it as they believe it is being used to commit further offences.

The vehicle is described as being a grey 2021 Volkswagen Amarok with a black bull bar, snorkel and tool accessible tray area.
