Police seek information: Armed robbery, Murarrie

Detectives have released CCTV of an armed robbery in Murarrie on Tuesday, January 7.

At 9.55am an unknown man has entered a service station on Wynnum Road and threatened a staff member with a large kitchen knife.

The unknown man demanded money from the cash register before leaving with a sum of money on foot.

The staff member was not physical injured.

The unknown man is described as Caucasian, about 180cm tall and was wearing a grey hoodie, grey t-shirt, light jeans and black sneakers.

Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man in the footage to contact police.
