Police seek information on Aggravated unlawful Entry in Darwin

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated unlawful entry in Nightcliff over the weekend.

At around 6:40am Sunday, police received reports that a male had unlawfully entered a residence on Jasmine Street. The occupant of the residence has allegedly confronted the male, who then allegedly assaulted him with an edged weapon.

The occupant received minor injuries and the offender fled the scene.

The offender is described as Indigenous, skinny build, 175cm tall, aged between 18 and 21 with curly hair.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said, " Investigations into this incident are ongoing and police are now calling for anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour around Jasmine Street on Sunday morning to make contact on 131 444. Please quote 9962562."
