Police seek information on Counterfeit Money at Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police have been provided with a counterfeit note handed in by a local business in Tennant Creek today.

The note has a paper texture, is slightly smaller than a genuine $20 note and the security window is missing from the note.

Police urge Tennant Creek residents to be vigilant of counterfeit money being distributed in Tennant Creek.

Police are asking anyone who has received counterfeit money in Tennant Creek and surrounding areas to notify them. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
