Townsville Police are appealing for information after an overturned boat that was located south of Forrest Beach this morning.
Around 8.30am, a member of the public located a small tender with a 3-6 horsepower outboard motor, upturned and washed up on the beach about 3.5km south of Forrest Beach.
Police have conducted a land and sea search and are seeking community assistance to locate the occupants or owner of the vessel.
Investigators are urging anyone who may recognise the boat or has information regarding the owner to call police.
