Police Seek Information on Stolen Vehicles in Acacia Hills

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information after Bushfires NT reported four of their vehicles had been stolen overnight from its Acacia Hills station.

Around 7:45am today, police received reports the fence of the compound had been cut to access four of their grass fire units.

The Bushfires NT vehicles were spotted in the Daly River area around 4:30am this morning.

One vehicle has reportedly broken down at the Lake Bennet turn-off. Enquiries are ongoing to locate the remaining three vehicles, with one sighted stationary near Daly River.

Strike Force Trident are investigating the incident and whether the same offenders are linked to the alleged theft of a white Nissan patrol from Adelaide River overnight.
