Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist in relation to incidents at the Wurtulla Beach lifeguard tower last month.
On 10 January around 2.40am, a man used the SLSQ 24-hour emergency phone at Beach Access 248 off Oceanic Drive to report someone had been swept out to sea. Lifeguards and police attended the scene and searched the area, but no one was located.
Police and lifeguards were also called to the beach on 12 January just before 3am following a similar phone call, and a subsequent search again failed to locate anyone.
The man or anyone who recognises him is asked to come forward.
Anyone who has any information or vision about either incident is urged to contact police.
