Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the South Coast
Ameirah Stonham, aged 13, was last seen in Avondale, about 8pm yesterday (Friday 29 August 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Officers hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Ameirah is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build, with mid length brown-blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, purple t-shirt, black tracksuit pants, black and white "Nike" shoes and carrying a black "Billabong" backpack.
Ameirah is known to frequent the Lake Illawarra, Dapto, Wollongong CBD and Sydney CBD areas.
