Police Seek Missing Bankstown Teen 16 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage girl missing from Bankstown.

Mariama Jallah, aged 14, was last seen at a unit in Bankstown about 11.30am today (Saturday 16 August 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Mariama's welfare due to her age.

Mariama is described as being of African appearance and about 170cm tall.

She was last seen wearing a head scarf with a red hooded jumper over the top and black pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
