Police Seek Missing Boy Near Sutherland Shire

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy reported missing from the Sutherland Shire area.

Mckenzie Howell, aged 13, was last seen on Curtis Avenue, Taren Point, about 11.30am today (Monday 23 March 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Mckenzie's welfare due to his age.

Mckenize is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build, with short blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a black Nike long sleeve shirt, black pants and black Nike shoes.

Mckenize is known to frequent the Caringbah, Sutherland, Ramsgate and Newtown areas.
