Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from the Wollongong area.
Wayne Howard-Birch, aged 13, was last seen on Murphys Avenue, Keiraville, about 11.45am on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Wayne's welfare due to his age.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm, of thin build, with blonde hair.
Wayne was last seen wearing a black 'Champion' branded jumper, grey 'Champion' branded pants, black cap and black 'Hoodrich' bumbag.
He is known to frequent the Wollongong, Newton and Nowra areas.
