Police Seek Missing Malabar Teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's Eastern Beaches.

Kai Tongatoma, aged 14, was last seen in Malabar about 7pm on Thursday 23 April 2026.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare given his age.

Kai is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 140cm tall, with a thin build, red hair, and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey jersey and black pants.

Kai is known to frequent the Maroubra and Mascot areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Eastern Beaches Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
