Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's west.
Derzen Gebresilase, aged 11, were last seen in Merrylands West, about 2pm today (Saturday 4 July 2026).
Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.
Derzen is described as being of African appearance, about 155cm-160cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey pants and possibly carrying metal pole about 1 metre long.
