Police Seek Missing Parramatta Teen 26 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's south west.

Dakota Smith, aged 14, was last seen on the Great Western Highway, Parramatta on Friday 6 February 2026.

When she was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified on Wednesday 18 February 2026 and immediately commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Dakota's welfare due to her age.

She is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm tall, with a thin build and black hair and brown eyes.

Dakota is known to frequent the Parramatta, North Sydney, Balmain, Doonside and Lalor Park areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is asked to contact Liverpool Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
