Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's north.
Meleiika Carrol, aged 13, was last seen on Waitara Avenue, Waitara, about 4pm on Monday (1 September 2025).
When she could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified on today (Wednesday 3 September 2025) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police have concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Meleiika is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 135cm tall, of medium build, with black curly hair.
She was last seen wearing a grey/black top with dark tights.
She is known to frequent the Guildford, Granville, Merrylands, Lidcombe and Hornsby areas, and known to use the rail network.
