Police Seek Missing Waterloo Teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's south.

Sohayla Kent, aged 13, was last seen on Pitt Street, Waterloo, about 7am on Thursday 9 April 2026.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Orana Police District were notified and South Sydney Police Area Command have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare given her age.

Sohayla is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 160cm tall, medium build, with black and red hair, and ear piercings.

She is known to frequent the Waterloo, Greenacre and Fairfield areas.
