Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Wollongong.
Sophia Lyons, aged 13, was last seen on Gipps Street, Wollongong, about 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 14 January 2026).
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Sophia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, 55kg, with long red hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, black tracksuit pants and white/blue Nike TNs shoes.
Sophia is believed to frequent the Wollongong, Sydney and Central Coast areas.
