Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the Wollongong area.
Sophie Lyons, aged 12, was last seen on Crown Street, Wollongong, about 6.15pm yesterday (Thursday 6 November 2025).
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Sophie's welfare due to her age.
Sophie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm – 155cm tall, of large build, with long brown/red hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, grey pants and blue joggers.
Sophie is believed to be frequent the Wollongong and Sydney's CBD areas.
