Police Seek Missing Woman From West of Dorigo

A multi-agency search to locate a missing woman is underway in the state's north.

Lynette Pickersgill, aged 60, was last seen in Hernani area, approximately 42km west of Dorigo, this morning (Tuesday 27 January 2026).

Officers attached to Coffs-Clarence Police District were notified and extra resources from Dog Squad, Police Rescue, SES and NSW Rural Fire Service were called to commence inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Lynette's welfare as police believe she was involved in a vehicle crash today.

Lynette is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm – 170cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair and black eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light brown shirt, dark brown shorts and carrying her sandals.

Inquiries established she was travelling in a yellow Toyota SUV with Queensland registration 928IB4.
