Police are investigating a report of a male who approached two 12 year old boys behind the Roberts Building on Devonport Road, Devonport on the 16th April 2019 at about 1:15pm.
The male produced a knife and demanded a mobile phone, which he then stole from one of the youths. The male then fled on a grey mountain bike, travelling North on Devonport Road. No injuries were sustained by any person.
Members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or a male wearing dark clothing, carrying a Nike backpack and riding a grey mountain bike in the area at the time, or, who may have travelled this area at the time and whom have dash cam footage are urged to contact Devonport CIB on 131444 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333 or crimestopperstas.com.au.
