Police seek public assistance to help locate missing man in Cessnock

Police are appealing for public assistance as they continue to search for a man missing from Cessnock since late last month, NSW Police say.

Dylan Dickie, 19, was last seen on Thursday 23 June 2016, when he left his family home on Guest Street, travelling on a Yamaha 250 trail bike.

When Mr Dickie failed to respond to family, officers attached to Central Hunter Local Area Command were contacted and commenced searching for him.

Despite ongoing searches, Mr Dickie has not been seen or heard from since, and concerns are held for his welfare.

Mr Dickie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build, with a fair complexion, blond hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing black track suit pants, a dark coloured hooded jacket, brown steel cap work boots and a black and white beanie.

The motorcycle Mr Dickie was travelling on is described as being a 2014 blue Yamaha XT motorcycle with registration MNG39. It was last seen near Trig Road, Corrabare, and the search for him continues around that area.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
