Police seek to identify pedestrian struck by truck in Broadmeadows

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man who was struck by a truck in Broadmeadows this morning, Victoria Police say.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the intersection of Dimboola Road and Pascoe Vale Road about 6.45am.

The pedestrian, believed to be aged in his late 20’s, was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and rendered assistance.

The pedestrian had no form of identification on him and investigators are hoping someone might know who he is.

The man is described as of Indian Sub-Continental appearance.

He was wearing a black and burgundy button up shirt, black tracksuit pants, a white baseball cap and black sketchers shoes.
