Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two teenage girls missing from Sydney' inner city.
Rasharni West, aged 14, and Zeynep Sarimsaklio, aged 12, were last seen together on Phillip Street, Waterloo, about 3am today (Thursday 16 April 2026).
Officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for the two girls' welfare due to their age.
Rasharni is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a light grey hooded jumper.
Zeynep is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with indigo hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a pink hooded jumper.
They are believed to frequent the Waterloo and Burwood areas.
