Police seek witnesses after motorcyclist injured in Windsor

Prahran Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in Windsor early this morning.

The incident happened on Queens Way when a small four-wheel drive cut the rider off, causing him to lose control and fall from his bike.

The rider, a Dandenong North man aged in his 20s, sustained serious injuries when his head struck the roadway.

The driver of the four-wheel drive did not stop at the scene and police believe he may not have known his actions could have contributed to the fall.

The motorcyclist was riding at the tail end of a group of approximately twelve riders when the incident occurred.

Investigators wish to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage.
