Police Seek Witnesses in Forest Lake Crash

A man has passed away following a serious traffic crash in Forest Lake this morning, 26 December.

Around 11.55am, police were called to the Logan Motorway, following reports a blue Kia Cerato, stopped in the emergency bay, had been struck by a white Kia Cerato.

The driver and sole occupant of the blue Kia, a 78-year-old Wilsonton man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Kia, a 33-year-old Cleveland woman, was not physically injured and is assisting police with their investigation.

Police are appealing to anyone who has vision of the incident, or of either vehicle in the time leading up to the crash, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
