Police seek witnesses - Marsden traffic crash

Logan Police investigating a single vehicle crash at Marsden on Thursday, December 19 are appealing for witnesses.

Specifically- police would like to speak with a woman who was waiting at a Coolmunda Street bus stop with her two children and who witnessed the crash.

As well as the female driver of an early model blue Holden Commodore, with police believing she may have seen the Ford shortly before the crash.

Around 10.35am on December 19 a 2006 Green Ford Falcon sedan travelled from Second Avenue and into Coolmunda Street where the vehicle lost control, mounting the kerb before crashing through a front fence and then into the carport of a house in Coolmunda Street.

Here the vehicle crashed into a parked blue Mitsubishi Triton ute, pushing it into the neighbouring fence.

No-one was injured as a result of the crash, including the driver of the Ford, a 24-year-old local man.
