Police seek witnesses - Pedestrian strike at Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police are investigating a traffic incident in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Tennant Creek last week.

Just after 8pm on Thursday 21 January, a 51-year-old man was on the corner of Peko Road and Ambrose Street when he was allegedly struck by a vehicle.

The man sustained a small laceration to the head and was taken to the Tennant Creek Hospital for observation.

The driver of the vehicle, who did not remain on scene, contacted police shortly after the incident, and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on 131 444 or by attending the Tennant Creek Police Station to speak with investigators in the Tennant Creek Criminal Investigation Branch.
