Police seek witnesses to assault and robbery at West Lakes, SA

Police are looking for three youths after a boy was assaulted and robbed at West Lakes yesterday, according to SA Police.

A teenage boy was riding his bike at the Bower Road bike park about 3.30pm on Wednesday 15 November when three boys approached him on bikes.

One of the boys took the victim’s backpack and started rummaging through it. The victim tried to stop him but the other two boys intervened and assaulted him.

The victim sustained injuries to his face and stomach and was taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital for treatment.

The three youths then left, stealing the victims bike and were last seen heading south towards the Royal Park area.

The boys were described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged 13-16 years, one riding a white bike and one riding a blue bike.
