Police seek witnesses to Clarence Gardens break-in, SA

Police are seeking witnesses to a break-in and robbery at a Clarence Gardens home this afternoon, according to SA Police.

An elderly resident had returned to her Dinwoodie Avenue home just before 1pm when she disturbed a woman inside the house rifling through drawers.

When confronted, the woman knocked the occupant to the ground and robbed her of cash and jewellery.

The suspect ran off through the front door was last seen riding off on a black push bike.

Patrols conducted an extensive search of the area with the assistance of Dog Operations officers but could not locate the woman.

The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged 20-30 years, tall with light brown hair, a solid build and square shaped face. She was wearing red shorts, a black bike helmet and carrying a back pack.
