Police seek witnesses to Henley Beach assault, SA

Police are investigating an assault at a Henley Beach hotel overnight, according to SA Police.

About 12.15am on Sunday 17 June police were called to a hotel on Seaview Road following reports of a fight involving a large group of people.

During the incident, a 39-year-old man from Semaphore Park was assaulted and knocked unconscious. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of a head injury however his condition is not considered life-threatening.

The suspect is described as 175cm tall with a muscular build, aged 25-30 years and had a full sleeve of tattoos on both arms.

Western Adelaide CIB investigating the incident is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
