Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking public assistance following a suspicious fire at a Lalor business on Sunday, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the May Road premises about 11.10pm.
Investigators believed the fire started about 30 minutes earlier and completely gutted the building’s interior.
The business was unoccupied at the time and no injuries have been reported.
Another nearby business suffered smoke damage as a result of the fire.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was near the area prior to and around the time of the incident.
