A crime scene has been established following a fire in Lara overnight, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the Sheeran Crescent address about 2am after smoke was noticed coming from a shed at the rear of the premises.
Several houses were evacuated after it was discovered that a number of acetylene cylinders were stored in the shed.
Fire investigators will examine the property later in the morning to determine if the fire was suspicious.
