Police seek witnesses to Northcote wallet theft

Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are making an appeal for information following a theft of a wallet in Northcote last month.

Investigators have been told an unknown person stole the victim's wallet between Monday 18 November and Tuesday 19 November 2019.

A man has then used a card from the stolen wallet at several convenience stores and service stations in the Northcote and Melbourne areas between 8.20am and 12.40pm on Tuesday 19 November.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 25 to 35 years old with a thin build.

Police have released images of a man they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
