Police seek witnesses to St Albans armed robbery

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a hairdressing salon in St Albans last month, Victoria Police say.

Brimbank Divisional Response Unit detectives have been told a man entered the Main Road West salon on Tuesday 10 October about 2.35pm armed with a syringe.

The man demanded cash from the lone attendant who handed handed over a quantity of cash before he fled the store.

The offender is described to be Caucasian in appearance, in his mid 30s, 175cm tall with a medium build

He was wearing a black hooded jumper, blue jeans, black shoes with blue laces.

Police have released an image and CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
