Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state's north.
Yolinda Cavanagh-Smith, aged 20, last made contact with family in November 2025.
When she was unable to be located or contacted further, she was reported missing to officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District about 11:30am today, Wednesday 7 January 2026, who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Yolinda is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm-160cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.
Yolinda could be in the Sydney Greater Metropolitan area.
