Police seeking assistance after mail stolen from letterboxes in Bondi

Police are seeking the assistance of the public to identity a man seen stealing mail in the Bondi area on last month, NSW Police say.

On two occasions, about 1.50am Saturday 22 July 2017 and 1am Wednesday 26 July 2017, a man has entered a foyer of an apartment complex on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, and accessed a number of letterboxes.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command have been told mail has been stolen from the letterboxes and are investigating both incidents.

Investigators have today released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being about 30-years-old and Middle Eastern in appearance. He has a medium build and shaved head.

He is seen in one of the image wearing a Superdry grey hoodie, black tracksuit pants, black jogger and a black hat. He is carrying a Gucci-style bag.

He is seen in a second image wearing a black and grey ‘EA7’ long sleeve jumper, black tracksuit pants and white joggers.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
