Police have arrested a man in an alleged stolen Ferrari and seized a number of high-end vehicles after executing a search warrant in Newport today, Victoria Police say.
Police were called to a sus loiter in Johnston Street about 9.50am and found a man in a Ferrari allegedly stolen from an address in South Yarra.
A 19-year-old Newport man was arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed a warrant at a property in Johnston Street, Newport this afternoon.
A number of vehicles were located and seized, including a 2018 Mercedes Benz, Holden utility and a motorcycle.
The investigation remains ongoing.
