Police serach for missing woman Valda Parker

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Carnegie woman Valda Parker.

The 70-year-old was last seen heading west on Southbank Promenade, Melbourne last night, Wednesday 25 December about 8.15pm.

Police have concerns for Valda's welfare as she has dementia and is unfamiliar with Melbourne's CBD.

She is described as 165cm, with red hair and was wearing a white long sleeve top with faint horizontal stripes and black pants with a white pattern.

Police have released an image of Valda in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.

Anyone with information about Valda is asked to contact Melbourne West Police Station on 8690 4444.
