Police too quick for attempt breaker, SA

Quick work by Eastern Adelaide police has led to a man being arrested after he attempted to break into a house early this morning in the CBD, according to SA Police.

Just after 3.30am, Friday 17 March, police were called to South Terrace, Adelaide, when a family called Triple Zero after disturbing a man trying to break into their house.

Upon police arrival the man allegedly ran from police jumping fences to get away, however police were too quick and ran the man down arresting him without incident a short distance away.

The 38-year-old from Gilberton has been charged with attempted serious criminal trespass he will appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 1 May.
