Police treating death suspicious in Depot Hill

Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man at Depot Hill overnight.

The 56-year-old man was located with facial injuries at a residence on Campbell Street at around 9:30pm last night.

Emergency services responded, however the man was declared deceased at the scene.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death, which is believed to be suspicious.

A crime scene has been established and at this stage the cause of death is unknown.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Campbell Street overnight to contact police.
