Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Newmarket this evening.
Police and emergency services were called to a disturbance near the intersection of Erneton and Wilston Street in Newmarket shortly before 7pm.
A 51-year-old man was declared deceased at the scene.
A 53-year-old woman who was located at the scene is assisting police with their inquiries.
A crime scene has been established and police investigations continue.
