Detectives have commenced an investigation into the death of a man located in Surfers Paradise yesterday afternoon.
At 5:15pm officers attended an address on Markwell Avenue after emergency services located a man deceased in a home.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been declared and was guarded overnight with scientific officers expected to return to the scene today.
