Police treating fire as suspicious, Stuart

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a business in Stuart overnight.

Around 3.40am, emergency services were called to a mechanical workshop on Hogan Street to a report of cars on fire.

Multiple cars were destroyed. The building was not damaged.

A crime scene was declared and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of Hogan Street between 3am and 4am or has dashcam is urged to contact police.
