Police Treating Fire As Suspicious, Browns Plains 26 August

A crime scene has been declared and police are investigating following a suspicious fire in Browns Plains this morning, 26 August.

Around 3am, police and emergency services responded to reports a business on Enterprise Way, Browns Plains, was engulfed in fire.

Initial investigations indicate three offenders arrived in two vehicles, set the business on fire, and left in a dark-coloured hatchback in an unknown direction.

A white Hyundai i30, reported stolen from Stafford on 22 August, was left at the scene.

The fire, which caused damage to two businesses, was extinguished a short time later.

Police are appealing for any information about the incident or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or have vision in the area around the time of the fire to come forward.

Investigations remain ongoing.
