Police Update 1: Stolen Puppy Charges, Calamvale

Police have charged a woman and have recovered two 4-week-old Staffy cross puppies after they were allegedly stolen from Calamvale on Monday, 11 August.

Officers attended a Logan Central address on Wednesday, 20 August, where they located a 29-year-old Riverview woman and took her into custody.

Following further enquiries, police recovered the puppies yesterday, August 21, and safely returned them to their owner.

The 29-year-old Riverview woman was charged with one count of enter dwelling and commit.

She appeared in Richlands Magistrates Court yesterday, 21 August.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with further information that could assisting in locating a second, outstanding female offender in this matter, to contact police.
