Police update 1: Stolen vehicle charges at Yeppoon

Queensland Police have charged two people in relation to an alleged theft of a vehicle from a shopping centre car park in Yeppoon yesterday afternoon.

Around 4pm yesterday, police allegedly located a stolen grey Nissan Patrol at Bungundarra and took a 24-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man into custody.

The 24-year-old Cobraball woman has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, abduction of a child, driving without a licence.

The 36-year-old Mount Morgan man has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They have both been denied police bail and are due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning, April 20.
