Police update 2: Armed robbery, Mountain Creek

Detectives have arrested a man today following the investigation of an armed robbery of a Mountain Creek bakery last week.

It will be alleged on September 9 around 7.50am a man entered the business on Karawatha Drive armed with a knife.

He demanded money from an 18-year-old female staff member who complied, and the man then fled on foot.

Today Maroochydore Criminal Investigation Branch Detectives arrested a man at an address in Parrearra.

A 46-year-old Parrearra man has been charged with armed robbery and will appear at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on the November 8.
