Police update 2: Suspicious death at Cairns

Detectives investigating the death of a 52-year-old Brisbane man in Cairns have charged a 32-year-old woman with manslaughter.

Anthony Brady was located deceased in a hotel on Sheridan Street around 4pm on Friday.

A 32-year-old woman, the subject of a public appeal by detectives yesterday, was located in Manoora around 10.45am today.

The woman has been charged with one count of manslaughter and will appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court tomorrow, August 17.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the man's death are continuing.
