Police have charged a 16-year-old boy following an investigation into a wounding incident in Coomera early this morning, 3 September.
Emergency services were called to the outside of a shopping centre on Foxwell Road around 1.25am, following reports a woman had allegedly been stabbed multiple times.
The 32-year-old victim was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The 16-year-old Upper Coomera boy has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, armed robbery and deprivation of liberty.
He is due to appear at Southport Childrens Court tomorrow, 4 September.
Investigations are continuing.
