The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 22-year-old man who absconded from NT Corrections custody earlier today in Tennant Creek.
Around 11:50am today, the man was located and arrested by local Tennant Creek police at an address in Ford Crescent.
He remains in custody and is expected to be charged in relation to this incident later today.
